Welcome to the new journal

Welcome all!! I decided to open yet another journal but this one is not related to my caringbridge one which is still at: www.caringbridge.org/in/angelbarneyboo
This one is for my own thoughts and feelings related to any issues whether it be political, religious, life in general, or my own thoughts. My whatever journal you can call it.

So, without further adoooooo........

I panicked when I read today that Pfizer was pulling Bextra off the market. Bextra has been a wonder drug for me when I have had pain with my multiple sclerosis. Its a non-narcotic, NSAID, drug. I have a strong sense that the next to be pulled off will be Aleve and then even Motrin and ibuprofen. Bextra's side effects that Pfizer has now published were a little shocking to me.

I believe these drug companies know from the beginning what harm some of these drugs can do. When I heard the side effect about the skin, I can't help but wonder, did this drug have anything to do with me getting skin tumors? Kinda makes you go hmmmmmmmmm........

I have always had one of those attitudes about drug companies because I believe that right now, there is probably a cure for some cancers, as well as other disorders. But do you honestly think that these companies are going to give the "cure". No way, imagine how many doctors that would be out of business, or how many drug companies who won't make their billions of dollars in revenue.

Just my opinion, take it or leave it.......
